The Mirrors for Earth’s Energy Rebalancing (MEER) project aims to develop and install large reflective mirror arrays along the earth’s surface to reflect sunlight back into space and harness thermal energy. By reducing the level of thermal energy absorbed by earth, temperatures can be lowered and climate change can be combatted.
This unique approach can be used immediately rather than relying upon country’s initiatives that will take time to reduce greenhouse gases in order to restore Earth’s natural ability to reject thermal energy from the sun.
