After several years constructing custom wood-frame homes, Paul Murdoch MArch BArch Sci. LEED AP BD+C, OAA, pursued both his Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in Architectural Science at Ryerson University.
During this time, Paul also participated in various studies in Italy, Israel, and Greece, focusing on the preservation, restoration, and conservation of historical buildings.
Paul continued to work both on-site and in-office in concrete forming, wood framing, landscape construction, deep foundations, shoring, and field engineering for various sites across Canada.
Paul has worked as estimator, project manager, project coordinator and architect in all sectors of the industry, including residential, institutional, hospitality, commercial, and industrial development.
Paul has conducted various feasibility studies and Heritage Impact Assessments for several developers across Ontario. He has a keen interest in sustainable development, and the aesthetic and technical subtlety required when bringing existing fabric together with new technology and design.
