Served as Vice President of Global Intellectual Property for JDS Uniphase from 2000-2003. Prior to 2000, Teitelbaum was in private practice. The firm of Neil Teitelbaum and Associates represented JDS Uniphase, the National Research Council of Canada, Communications Research Centre, Photonics Research Ontario, University of Quebec, Canadian Space Agency, Alberta Research Council, McGill University, Dew Engineering and Development, Flexicoil, American Biometrics, Chrysalis-ITS Inc., Solidum, and many other high tech companies preparing and filing patent applications worldwide.
Neil is a graduate of Ottawa University with a degree in Electrical (Computer) Engineering, having moved from a teaching career that included two years teaching in Lesotho, Southern Africa while acting as a Headmaster of a Secondary school.
